Thanks for recommending my review of Jimmy's Kitchen -TST. Actually your review was a big reason why I wanted to try it. Hope to have more communications, especially about spicy food. You like spicy, right?

Extremely-Hard-to-cut-crust2011-08-26 17:23203.198.x.xtotally agree with u there Spicygal! What made it worse was that the base of the tart was stuck to the tart tray by chocolate! [good for transportation but crap to serve] So when i cut it, the tart cudnt be cut nicely and the base broke and crumbled! But yea it tasted nice, however the smaller version is definately better. I regret not taking pics of the x-section of the smaller one.

I think the smaller one might taste better because the crust is thinner, so more fruit n cream in proportion. However the smaller one dosnt have the blackberries n frangipane which i want to try.' The crust and base did look thick in ur photo.
On the smaller tart there was some chocolate coating on the inside base of the tart
summer berries tart at Maxim's 2011-08-23 21:28219.77.x.xhi there, i left u a message on one or ur reviews, but somehow it got deleted. all i wanted to say was i tried the mini version of maxims berry tart thinking it was the bigger one, anyway it tasted really nice so I am going to try the big one if its still available. I wanted to ask u what somfing meant the chinese saying about the horse trot.

I haven't tried the small berry tart yet but I guess it should be better than the big one bcoz of the crust - I didn't like the very hard-to-cut crust. But by all means give it a try.
